Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 8, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how AutoCIQ handles information across the marketing website, Chrome extension, macOS app, and Safari Web Extension.
1. Who we are
AutoCIQ is published by Wuhan Newrathon Technology Co., Ltd. If you have privacy questions, contact [email protected].
2. Information we process
Website analytics: the AutoCIQ marketing site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page views, section views, and major calls to action.
Chrome waitlist submissions: if you join the Chrome waitlist, we collect the email address you submit and store it in Cloudflare-hosted waitlist storage so we can send release updates.
Chrome Google sign-in: when you sign in to the Chrome extension, AutoCIQ receives your verified Google account ID, email address, name, and profile picture from Google so we can create an AutoCIQ session and bind Pro access to that Google account.
Chrome Pro purchases: when you buy AutoCIQ Pro, Stripe processes your payment. AutoCIQ stores payment-related identifiers such as Stripe customer ID, Checkout Session ID, PaymentIntent ID, product or price matching data, and entitlement status so we can activate, restore, and revoke access when required.
Extension and app settings: the AutoCIQ extension stores settings on your device, including provider preferences, selected model, language defaults, project-level language overrides, cached language catalogs, localization progress data, panel layout preferences, and locally stored API keys.
Garmin metadata you choose to process: when you use AutoCIQ on Garmin Connect IQ pages, the extension reads the source title, description, and update log fields from the page you are editing. When you run translation or copy-improvement actions, the selected metadata is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you selected.
Extension analytics: AutoCIQ also sends limited product analytics events to Google Analytics 4 from the extension, such as task flow events and usage signals.
3. How we use information
To operate the website, Safari app, and Safari extension.
To save your local preferences and restore your workflow state.
To send the content you selected to your chosen AI provider for translation or copy improvement.
To authenticate Chrome users, create sessions, process Pro checkout, and bind entitlements to the Google account used for purchase.
To measure product usage and improve feature quality.
To contact waitlist subscribers about launch updates.
4. Third-party services
AutoCIQ relies on Google Analytics 4 for website and extension analytics.
AutoCIQ relies on Chrome Identity and Google OAuth account tokens for Google sign-in.
AutoCIQ relies on Stripe for payment processing, hosted checkout, receipts, refunds, and payment event webhooks.
AutoCIQ relies on Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare Pages Functions, and Cloudflare D1 for site hosting, backend APIs, waitlist processing, session storage, and entitlement records.
AutoCIQ can send requests to third-party AI providers that you choose and configure, including providers such as Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Zhipu, z.ai, DeepSeek, Groq, and OpenRouter.
AutoCIQ operates on Garmin Connect IQ web pages that you actively open in Safari.
Each third-party provider processes requests under its own terms and privacy policy.
5. Storage and retention
Extension settings and workflow state are primarily stored locally on your device through browser storage and local storage.
Waitlist emails are stored in Cloudflare-hosted storage until they are no longer needed for release communication or until we decide to retire the waitlist.
Chrome account, session, entitlement, and billing event records are stored for as long as needed to operate Pro access, restore purchases, handle refunds, prevent duplicate webhook processing, and satisfy operational or legal requirements.
Analytics retention is managed by the third-party analytics platform we use.
6. Your choices
You can choose not to submit your email to the waitlist.
You can choose not to sign in with Google or buy Chrome Pro, but paid Chrome features require an authenticated account so the entitlement can be restored.
You can remove extension settings and stored API keys by clearing the extension's local storage or by uninstalling the extension.
You can stop sending metadata to AI providers by not starting translation or copy-improvement actions.
You can contact [email protected] if you want us to remove your waitlist email from our records or ask about your Chrome account and entitlement records.
7. Children's privacy
AutoCIQ is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
9. Trademark disclaimer
AutoCIQ is an independent third-party application and is NOT affiliated with, authorized, endorsed, or sponsored by Garmin Ltd. or any of its affiliates.
The name "Garmin" and related trademarks are the property of Garmin Ltd. and are used here solely to describe compatibility with Garmin devices and services.
